July Newsletter
What a joy June has been! We watched our kids light up during Vacation Bible School, sent 26 students and 4 chaperones off to youth camp, and gathered to serve our neighbors together. Our church family keeps growing closer, and we're so grateful. As summer rolls on, July is full of chances to serve, grow, and have fun side by side. Here's what's coming up! 🎉
🤝 Community Outreach
Bingo @ Care Springs — Tuesday, July 21 at 6:15 pm Join us as we head to Care Springs for a night of Bingo with the residents! This is one of our favorite ways to reach into our community and build friendships with the elders there. Come share some laughs, cheer on the winners, and be a blessing — every visit means more than you know. We'd love to have you there!
Coming in August: Homeless Outreach — Tuesday, August 4 (Prep on Monday, August 3) Mark your calendars! We're gearing up to serve our neighbors experiencing homelessness on August 4th, with prep the day before on August 3rd. Contact Jami Chowning for more details.
🧒 For Our Kids
Crossings Kids Camp — Sunday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 29 Our 2nd through 5th graders are heading to Crossings Kids Camp! It's shaping up to be a few days packed with fun, faith, and friendships they'll carry all summer long. Please keep our campers and leaders in your prayers as they go — may it be a trip they never forget.
🙌 For Our Youth & Adults
Youth Summer Meet Ups — Wednesdays, July 15 & July 29, 6:30–8:00 pm Calling all youth! Come hang out for our summer meet ups — evenings of games, fellowship, and connection. We've got two chances to gather this month, so bring a friend, bring your energy, and don't miss out!
2nd Annual Adults Takeover for Youth — Friday, July 31, 6:30–8:00 pm It's back! Mike and Lindsay are hosting the second annual Adults Takeover for Youth. Our adults are stepping in to lead, serve, and love on our students for a night to remember. This was a highlight last year — you won't want to miss it!
